  1. Hey Ears, well i think im going to buy the uld15 and buy the hgs18 also. Next thing is which way to hook them up...i guess ill have to experiment...lol..got any ideas Ears? my set-up: Denon AVR-4800 Denon POA-5200 Klipsch KLF-20's (bi-amped to the POA-5200) Klipsch KLF-C7 Klipsch RS-3's (surround backs) Klipsch KSP S-6's (surrounds) Velodyne ULD-15 Series II(soon to have a 2nd 1) And soon to be HGS-18! Sony HDTV Hi Scan 1080 61" Sony CD/DVD DVP-C660 Onkyo DX-C540 Lou
  2. Hey Ears, Well......the reason I mentioned a pair of uld's is because I already have one and I have a chance to get another one for 700.00...but if you say there still would be no comparison then I'll stick with the HGS 18... Lou
  3. OK guys what do you think??? can 2 uld15II's be compared to a single hgs 18....?
  4. has anyone done business with Tatum Electronics? they have the HGS18 on their site for 1900 and some change...Or is there a better place to buy one?
  5. ears seems to like the svs ultra....my uld15 II sounded better than the dual svs 16-46 and sampson amp...thats alot of subwoofer to return...
  6. That's kinda music to my ears because that was my first choice(HGS18)... price isnt an issue with me....I just want the best of the four hands down...
  7. for some reason I missed the flat to 12 in your reply.... i take it you've tested them...
  8. I trust velodyne but some say the sunfire quote "sunfire blows velodyne away"... but after having to return my SVS subs and amp....... do you have experience with the sunfire? it would be great to try them all in the same enviroment(my living room). Im close to ordering the sunfire at this point...its only 13 cubed inches and 57lbs. and supposedly packs a comparable punch.
  9. I actually bought there biggest guns a year ago and sent them back. I'm looking for one that can perform as well with music as it does theater....
  10. I need help deciding which sub to buy...I'm not within driving distance to demo these products so I'm relying on anyone with technical expertise and or personal experience. I prefer to stick with Klipsch but I wont be truly happy unless I know i have the absolute best of the four. KLF-20'S KLF-C7 RS-3'S (SURROUND BACKS) KSP-S6'S (SURROUNDS) DENON AVR-4800 DENON POA-5200 VELODYNE ULD-15 II
