I was able to upgrade the firmware on my G17 just now using Safari. Indeed, the Bonjour browser is no longer a part of Safari, but I was able to use the free 3rd Party "Discovery - DNS-SD Browser", from Tildesoft in the Mac App Store, in order to obtain the ip address of the device. I was then able to form a URL from that ip address (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) in order to access the speaker from Safari to perform the upgrade, mostly as the instructions indicated. I too am hoping that Klipsch will support this speaker and add support for AirPlay 2. The firmware upgrade I did took me from a 2012 version to a 2015 version, which of course wouldn't support AirPlay 2. (Note to Klipsch: I'd be willing to beta-test a firmware upgrade for you...
