  1. Update: I got a new subwoofer in from Amazon, same exact model. Plugged in and worked like a charm with no issues. I have a new fuse coming for the broken one on Thursday, will update if that corrects the problem, otherwise I am considering the old one DOA. Guess this is why it said "Manufactured in China" on the Amazon listing and there were similar reports to mine. Hopefully the new rig lasts longer.
  2. I dont have a way to test the fuse. The 3.5mm to RCA adapter doesnt seem to trigger any type of response either. I hooked the red and white jacks and plugged into the phone and still no green LED.
  3. No luck Unfortunately I dont have either of these (or more precisely dont have a cord that fits a phone) No, it showed up from Amazon a few days ago like this. I am off to Home Depot now to get a new fuse as per HenrikTJs advice. Will let you all know how it goes.
  4. Yes I can increase the Sub level by +.5 db per tick up to I think 20db That is correct The Y cable did not impact matters. The most response I can get out of the sub is still just a brief flash of the green LED and no sound. Thank you all for your help in trying to resolve this matter, I appreciate the communities input. Should I return the sub? Should I get a new receiver? I just got these parts off Amazon so if I need to return/switch something out nows the time to do it.
  5. I tested both 250 and 80hz on the crossover. Front speakers are 2 RP-8000F 1 RP-504C Back speakers are 2 RP-280F
  6. Gain knob is turned all the way up New Y style cable (with additional R red plug) is coming from Amazon tomorrow I tried a Spotify song Crossovers are set to 250HZ across all speakers
  7. Thank you for the quick replies I have attempted to set my settings on my receiver as follows: Setup Menu > Speakers > Manual Setup > Speaker Config > Subwoofer (Set to Yes) Front (Set to Small) Surround (Set to Small) Center (Set to Small) Setup Menu > Speakers > Manual Setup > Bass Subwoofer Mode (Set to LFE) (not LFE+Main) LPF For LFE (Set to 80hz) No luck
  8. Hello all, I have a Denon AVR-S640H receiver, and a Klipsch Reference R-112SW Subwoofer I have hooked up the LFE jack to the PreOut Subwoofer 1 jack with this cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FW0WIK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but I am unable to get the subwoofer to be recognized. When I plug in the Sub there is a brief flash of the green LED light, but then it goes out. Setting the Sub to Standby, Auto, or On does not matter. Do I need a Y Cable to make this work? Any ideas I can check? Thank you for any help!
