  1. I don't understand how it can be EMI or ground loop. Please explain your opinion further. To me it seems that it's the connect with the plug in the speakers. If dickn' around with the plugs eliminated the hiss and then you send more singnal to it and then jumps right back to hissing then it seems to me it's the plugs, but I'm no electrical engineer. That's exactly what mine are doing and they're going back for a refund. Again, I should not have to go through this, period, at least at $300.
  2. I'll have to say I'm quite disappointed with the hissing prob. with the 4.1's. Is there a certain batch that this problem pertains to? I've come to the conclusion that it's the plugs in the backs of the speakers. I have to giggle them around to get the full sound from the speaker. Ya know, I shouldn't have to do that with Klipsch. Anyway, I guess I'll take them back. Well tried the Logitech z260, loud subwoofer hum and unbalanced L/R, now Klipsch with this problem. I may go back to my Creative Inspire 5300's at least they worked properly.
  3. Me too. Just got them last week and noticed the hissing or static in the rear speakers. Played around with the plugs on the back of the speakers and it helped, but not sure it will stay that way. Do I take them back to Bestbuy and try another? Is there a manufacturing date that this hissing doesn't occur on? Thanks, I may contact Klipsch.
