  1. i'm not really looking for a sub. the built in subs in the rp3s provide more than adequate bass response (all the way down to 27hz).
  2. dedicated 2 channel music system, large room, budget of about $400. thanks.
  3. if i'm looking to upgrade my audio equipment, what change (on a limited budget) would result in the most significant improvement? here's what i have: sony cx90es cd player harmon kardon hk3370 reciever klipsch rp3 speakers thanks
  4. kenratboy, i go to san francisco all the time. what's the name of the dealer that stocks heritage series speakers?
  5. i checked the online dealer locater. the only dealer near me is goodguys, but i know they don't carry la scallas or belles. any suggestions?
  6. well, i'd really love to hear a pair of belles or la scalas. anyone know of any central california klipsch dealers that actually carry them? so far all the "dealers" i've been to only have pro media stuff.
  7. just got a pair of rp3s, and they sound great to me. but having never heard a pair of belles or la scallas i was just wondering if i would notice a significant improvement between the reference and heritage series. also, which are considered better speakers: belles or la scallas, and are there any particularily good eras? thanks
  8. I'm new to Klipsch, but let me get this straight: the top of the line Klipsch speakers not only have horn loaded tweeters, but horn loaded midrange and subwoofer drivers as well? Does this actually sound good? I always thought horn loading was optimal for tweeters only. If horn loaded bass sounds so good, why don't other speaker companies offer it? I guess maybe some of my confusion comes from not really understanding what exactly "horn" means. If anyone could explain or post some links to online diagrams I'd really appreciate it. Also, I live in central california, does anybody know any hifi shops that stock Khorns so I can hear them myself without spending $5,000+?
