  1. Trader My ceilings aren't tall enough to hang the Forte's from. This would only put the woofer magnets at the height of the television. I did remove the woofer earlier today to see of that was the problem. It was not. Apparently even the horn's (tweeter and midrange) are giving a problem as well. I do have a Reference Center Channel speaker on top of the tv. This is only a year and a half old and must be sheilded because it does not give any problem.
  2. Trying this post in 2 areas. I have just purchased a 32" television and my Forte I's are giving it problems. The magnets are strong enought that I cannot put these speakers anywhere near the TV. Angling has helped but not completely. How do I sheild these speakers?
  3. What was the difference between the Forte I and the Forte II? I had read somewhere that the midrange was improved. Is this thru crossover, drivers or both? Finally, is there a way to make these changes to the Forte I and is it a worthwile change?
  4. I have just purchased a new JVC 32" flat screen. Since the Forte I's that I have are older speakers, they are not sheilded thus giving me probems with the screen. This is confirmed by moving the speakers away (and I mean far away) from the TV to make the spots go away. How can I solve this? Is there a way to sheild these magnets? Do all the magnets need sheilding, or is it the cabinet that needs to be sheilded?
