  1. Hey, I work for Best Buy, and there is no HT system there worth buying for 500 dollars. The closest thing that BB carries is a 500 dollar 5.1 JBL speaker package that is pretty nice, but then you need to go with a receiver, which I would recommend Yamaha because everything else BB sells is pretty crappy. R.J. Yamaha HTR 5560 JBL Studio Series 6.2 setup Klipsch KSW 12 (Yeah that's right 3 subs) Toshiba SD-4800 DVD player 32' GE TV- Will be upgrading to Samsung DLP *** I'm proud of it, considering I just turned 20 and am still in college.
  2. I personnally have the 5560, and absolutely love it. With Klipsch I feel it is a great match, and it has a low THD level. If you don't have a lot of money, may I suggest taking a position at Best Buy. I was able to piece together a Home Theater system that retails for around 7000 for under 2000... not bad for a kid who just turned 20. My roommate has the AVR-2700 with an infinity setup, and my Yamaha/JBL/Klipsch setup whoops his system. RJ
  3. Hey all, I just upgraded my home theater system to a Yamaha/JBL studio series set up from an older Klipsch synergy series/Onkyo setup. I currently have two S312's for the fronts, S36's for the rears, an S120 for the lower frequencies, and two studio centers for the center, and rear center channels. I have a Yamaha HTR-5560 for my receiver. My problem is I still have a KSW-12 that I'm not sure what to do with, considering it is not voice matched with the rest of my setup. What do you experts think I should do with the extra KSW-12, use it or sell it? It only has about 6 months of use on it so if I were to sell it, about how much could I expect to receive? Thanks guys, R.J.
  4. This may seem like a stupid question to many, however, I have searched and am unable to find what type of fuse is required for the KSW-12? Also, where can I order some of them? On a side note.... I was playing a Three Six Mafia song to test out the range of the KSW-12, and for the real deep lows it unfortunately couldn't keep up. Is there anything I can do to improve my KSW-12's performance to hit the deep lows below 22hz crisper and cleaner? Thanks for your time, R.J.
