Thanks for the responses. All the speakers are in the same room (living/kitchen). I don't want to use for TV/theater speakers. Are six channel receivers common? Thanks Again!

My house came with 6 Klipsch speakers (RCR-5) in the ceiling with a hole in the wall where there appear to be the ends of the speaker wires. What type of amp or receiver should I use?
