All, thanks for the feedback.  The comment that the a/4500 can be attenuated?  How is that done?  I have not found any feedback on how that is done..

I added the Ct120 and the a/4500 crossover to my 70’s LaScalas, which had the original AL crossover..  It seems like the are overly harsh.  Very detailed, yes,  I read these crossover move the crossover point to 4500, and maybe that is part of the issue?  Any recommendations on what to try and tame them abit?  Thanks Davedev07

[Altec 19 vs La Scala]

I have a pair of Altec 15’s and old Lascala’s.  The Altecs are rather thin and lack the big sound from the LS. Both are greatly improved with sub. Not the same comparison, but it’s what I got. I am pursuing these threads, getting ready to start some mods on the LS... can’t wait..

[LaScala - To Refub or "Upgrade"]

I have the AL crossover, which I have heard is not the best.  Does the same change out the capacitors recommendation apply?  Which caps do you all suggest?  Thanks!
