i may be interested in doing that. i am using my dads old electro voice 7a speakers right now, but i wouldnt mind sticking with klipsch. what did you have in mind? josh

because i am INSANE!!! no...i am reasonably sane, but i recently moved and i have them in my small bedroom and they are too big for it. i am so pleased with these speakers that i am sure when i move to a bigger place of my own, i will get another pair. i just want them to go somewhere they will be fully appreciated and have room to play...the fortes are staring at me right now, like a dog who knows he might be going to the vet. so that is why...and i could use the money right now. please...someone give these a good home. josh

ok... i AM selling these! there are fortes from 1989, oiled oak, biampable, excellent condition. i do not have the risers...but they sure as heck sound like they do not need them. the original owner had spikes, which i took out because i have hardwood floors...so there are tiny holes in the bottom of these. other than that, these are really mint. asking price is $800. please email any questions or comments. thanks, josh

i will be taking photos soon. as for how much, i really dont know...these are biampable and with all of my looking on ebay and the like, i have yet to see another pair of biampable fortes. i wouldnt mind your opinions on the value of these. josh

well... for now, because i dont have anything else, i am going to run a pair of faux plastic 8 inch SOUNDESIGN boom box speakers connected with twist ties for speaker wire. or maybe i will use the Electro Voice Model SEVEN's my dad gave me that he bought in 1966 with super-nice cane grills. Yeah, they are bookshelf speakers, but the problem is that my room is tiny and these should do the job. I will be looking for other replacements, as always, and may even entertain a "trade+cash" offer. i keep looking over my shoulder, josh

hey all. yes...it is true. i am probably going to sell my fortes. i can hear the white coats coming with their nets as i type. the speakers are too big for my tiny room and i could really use the cash. my fortes are biampable (2 sets up inputs on each speaker). they do not have the stands that originally came with them. oiled oak and in very good condition. they are original fortes, not forte II's. please contact me if interested. thanks. p.s. please don't call the mental health department...i ll probably call them later myself.

hey all! just wanted to let you know that these are still available. they are sitting by my door, whining like dogs, waiting for a new home...and everytime they hear music being played on other speakers they whimper and beg for musical input. please...i know that one of you caring and compassionate lunatics has the perfect spot for these. on a different note, is anyone familiar with Kenwood tube receivers and if so, what is your opinion? thats all for now.

they arent that beat up. uh...yeah, the handles are strange and so are the little cat scratches. i have had these since this past spring and i dont know if they were used on the road or not...but they DO sound very good. they could use some oil and a finish if someone wants to do that. these would be great for surrounds.
