  1. Great, thanks for the help. I don't own any Klipsch speakers yet but am getting ready to buy a complete set (w/ the RS3). Just wanted to make sure they would work mounted like that. I am up in the air about which to buy - the Klipsch Reference set or the NHT VT set. Who knows.
  2. Will they sound right mounted like this? The NHTs can be mounted at an angle, hanging on the back wall but turned 90-deg (firing at each other). I don't have 'great' stuff - Sony 36" XBR, Sony ES Receiver 110wx5, Sony DVD, Sony Tivo Sat receiver... -robert
  3. OK, I am building a new house and have a question about the setup of my home theater. I'm pretty happy w/ the setup of everything but am unsure about the rear speakers (both l and r). I am hoping to get RS-3 surrounds but don't know if they are a good match for my setup. The only place I can mount them (and keep them symetrical) is on the rear wall, right behind the sitting area. I came up w/ a crude picture - hope it helps. I wanted to mount them on the side walls 'shooting across' the sitting area (dark blue couch...) but the left would be out in the hallway! Is this going to sound ok? I'm new to this and would love some help. Actually, I'm trying to decide between a NHT setup, or a Klipsch...
  4. I am finally buying my first house (new construction) and would like to get a good (not top-of-the-line) set of speakers for my tv/home theater setup. How would the front/rear channels of the System 6 look when mounted on the wall? How big are they. My front/center speakers are no problem - I'll mount them on the wall (if they aren't too large). The rear speakers - who knows. I don't have a wall behind my couch - it is broke in the middle for the stairs. Could you mount the rear speakers on stands? How about ceiling mount? Does Klipsch have a setup that I could flush-mount in the wall? How should I prepare the walls for this? (it is new construction). Can I put the front/center in the walls and flush mount the rears in the ceiling? Any help is appreciated. -robert
