  1. Here's a shot of stage-right showing the Clair I-3, flown line arrays and the Clair BT-218 (18" x 2) sub stacks which flanked each end of the stage. I must stay that in my opinion, they did not perform as well as the Klipsch commercial products I have heard. Not even close. But the show was still very enjoyable once the main act hit the stage and they had the sound dialed in.
  2. On Friday evening (06/08/2012) Klipsch treated those of us who were interested to free seats to see the top female Country Music Artist, Miranda Lambert perform. And perform she did! Klipsch Music Center is located in Noblesville, Indiana, not far from Indianapolis (northeast of town). The facility was The Verizon Wireless Music Center prior to this year and originally, the facility was Deer creek Music Center from 1989 when it opened. The KMC sits on 224 acres and seats approximately 24,000 with 6,000 beneath the pavillion and 18,000 on the lawn.I am told that Friday night was a sell-out and it looked like it! The area around the pavillion is surrounded by little shops, food and drink vendors and a little suprise for Klipsch fans: Klipsch is known for protecting its heritage and therefore, usually follows tradition: When PWK initially started his speaker business in Hope, Arkansas, he chose to house the business in a Tin Shed. Here at the KMC, a lose interpretation of that tin shed is represented here in the form of the Klipsch Listening Lounge; a place where concertgoers may drop by, check out some Klipsch products, try out headphones and ask questions of Klipsch employees. 3. That's correct, Mighty. Sorry ComplexHVAC, your local path will not allow us to migrate to your photos. There are some threads on the forum on how to post photos such as this one: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/146757.aspx -Glenn
  4. That's all of the Pilgrimage photos I have folks. I will post the Miranda Lambert photos in a separate thread. Please feel free to post your own photos here if you wish! Can't wait until next year's pilgrimage. Thanks again to everyone at Klipsch! You folks made us feel like family! -Glenn
  5. Verna and Steve Phillps showing grandkid pictures to eachother:
  6. We discovered a funny new pastime: Watching Jackie Chan movies with the sound off and a local radio station for the sound track. We also added our own dialog here and there. The whole thing cracked us all up for about two hours. We're all apparently very easily amused. LOL
  7. Here's a picture of the prototype horn with the bass horn:
  8. We discovered this secret, two-way speaker project that Trey is working on that was stashed in his house! Here's a picture of the horn prototype:
  9. Verna, Steve Bailey, ComplexHVAC, Gayle, Trey's son, Trey Cannon:
  10. After the Pilgrimage finished on Saturday afternoon, Trey Cannon and Gayle hosted a BBQ at their house for some of us. I must say that Trey is one of the best BBQ'ers ever! The food was outstanding! We all had good conversation and lots of laughs. By the end of the evening there had to have been at least 20 people over at one time or another. Good Times! Steve Philips' wife, my wife Verna, Steve Bailey, ComplexHVAC, Trey Cannon, he-who-wishes-to-be-unnamed and Steve Phillips:
  11. Thump with one of his favorite axes: a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (1972) in traditional sunburst. Beautiful!
