Just finished getting my new Klipsch ProMedia THX 2.1 computer speakers set up and have come across a 60hz hum coming from the satellite speakers. The input (computer) and the speakers are on the same plug so I don't think its a ground loop (also its only a 60hz hum not 120 from what I can tell) and my connections between the sub and speakers is solid. The hum persists even with no input. Furthermore when there is input the speakers start to crackle with increased volume. I couldn't identify any interference in my setup so could this be an issue of a defective internal amp?
For reference I have also tested the speakers with a different computer on different outlets.
I've got a support ticket into Klipsch for the issue but any advice here would also be appreciated, thanks!
