  1. Hi EVERYone, I have ductwork on one side of my basement home theatre that limits me putting my side surrounds any higher that 5 feet. Do the rear surrounds have to be at the same level as the side surrounds. IF so should what is the guideline, tweeter to tweeter ?. armin
  2. I only have a few inches of corner space left if I put up SS.5's(dipole surrounds) for the rear surrounds. How much space is needed for dipoles on the backwall. The sound only has a few inches to 'breathe' once it leaves the speaker. Maybe I should stick with the sb.5's (monopole bookshelf) like I would have as my front mains. I also am putting up SS.5 as my side surrounds. thanks,
  3. If I have a 100 watts a channel reciever - will using the SS.5's rating of 50 watts continuous (200 watts peak) be a problem ? What does the 50 watts continuous REALLY mean when using a 100 watts a channel receiver ? thanks
  4. I forgot to mention that the mains will be SB-1's. I will also be using SB-1's as my 2 rear surrounds. Has anyone used DI-pole(ss-1/ss.5) for the side surrounds and rear surrounds together OR should one always use monopoles for the rear surrounds and dipole for the side surrounds ??? armin This message has been edited by Armin on 08-31-2002 at 03:48 PM
  5. Hi EVERYone, Do I require SS.1 and SC.1's or can I use the SS.5 AND SC.5. Is it just a matter of preference or will the .5's not be powerfull enough for a 11' x 22' dedicated theatre. I will have a receiver that has 100 watts a channel. thanks Armin
