Thanks Justin! I did what you said and wow no noise now. Even the nasty hum from changing inputs went away. Now to upgrade those cables

Hey folks, I was hoping not to post a problem but it happens. I just purchased the DD 5.1 with the klipsch 5.1 speakers recently. Unfortunately, when i hook up the decoder(turned off) as the input the speakers humm without any inputs(cox, optical, etc). The humming decreases when i turn on the decoder but not completely. I have the volume set to 59 and the rest(center, sub, rear) to 0. Am i expecting too much from these speakers not to hum at this range or is there a fix? Would better speaker cable help?
