Awesome, it worked for me too. Finally Downloaded The Fives Updater on App store then updated from app, then went to klipsch connect and firmware version is back, showing 1.6.9.

I struggled too, you should have more than 3 files only. Please check https://support.klipsch.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046482812-The-Fives-Firmware-Update unzip the files section, there's an archive with the files. Once you got them, it should be ok
