  1. I have a pair of series VI’s on custom mounts close to the ceiling and they run on a Sonamp 750w amplifier with Klipsch Cornwall IV’s run with a Parasound 250w amplifier in a huge room with a lot of leather furniture and they sound great together. The Bose provide a huge soundstage and booming base and the Klipsch do everything the Bose either cannot do or do poorly. For the audiophile snobs I have a pair of KEF Q-950’s and the huge KEF subwoofer run by another Parasound 225w amplifier in my master bedroom. You can rip on the Bose 901’s all you want and say they don’t deserve to be in the same room with Cornwalls, they are in a room packed with furniture and usually friends and along with the Klipsch and a good time is had by all. If I had no friends and I wanted to listen to perfect sound from a lone chair placed in the sweet spot all by myself I wouldn’t have this set-up.
  2. I have both Klipsch cornwall IV’s and 901’s together in a large room with furniture. The Bose are driven with a 750wpc Sonamp and the Klipsch with a 225wpc Parasound. I mostly listen to classic rock & roll at moderate volume and they sound good together. The Bose add the base that the Cornwalls lack and the Cornwalls make-up or hide every the Bose lacks or does poorly. I also have KEF Q-950’s with the big KEF base in my bedroom and enjoy good musical & movie sound.
