I just want to thank everyone for educating and helping me in this thread. By popular demand I will for sure get the Heresy HBR 1985. This will be a gift in the future to someone dear to me, but considering the high praise I've been getting for these bad bois I will give these a listen for myself in the next month. Worst case scenario I might keep the Heresies and gift my other speakers🤣

If that's the case I can definitely see the favoritism! Plus I heard it's very doable to switch out the stuff inside the H1 for better audio components because of how it's built? Is that true?

Also just wanted to say that I'm very surprised that I'm seeing a lot going for H-i's. Figured that mark-II would have the advantage. Works for me cause the H-i is closer to me.

What do you think? Personally if it isn't it's reeeaaaally close to that condition.

Haha I'm just a lil' indecisive rn. Don't know if I should go with either the HBR ver. or ii ver.

I have the capability to get either the Heresy HBR 1985 or the Heresy ii. Are they more or less the same in sound signature? Any advice/info would be extremely helpful. Thank you all!

Wuzzzer I'm a complete novice to the history of Klipsch, especially the Heresy lineage, so just seeing that the font for the numbers was different from the rest of the label information made me cautious, despite it being completely unwarranted now😅

I saw a pair of Klipsch Heresy HBR online for sale, but it's serial information seemed suspicious to me. Could anyone knowledgeable verify this?
