  1. Thanks for the good advice re. sub-woofer for Heresy speakers. I am also considering plan 'B'. Put the Heresy's in the mush smaller bedroom and get a set of nice used Cornwall's and forget the sub-woofer. I spoke to a friend and long time Belle owner who suggested that I would be disappointed with the "mushy" base note of the Cornwall. This is all subjective and somewhat of a crap-shoot without having Cornwalls and Heresy's to A-B compare. My impression has always been as you go up the line in Klipsch you get the same sound basically, just more of it. Are the Cornwalls a departure from this concept? Are there any places I can find old authoritative reviews on the speaker? Is it time for plan 'C', find a nice set of used LaScala's, my freind thinks as being much closer to the sound I am used to in the Heresy. Thanks in advance.
  2. The toddler twins are endangering the Heresys. They must go above the browse zone. The room is approx. 16'x32'. The speakers will be in the corners on one of the short walls. What is a good height for sitting/standing listening. I am using a vintage MacIntosh 80 watt per channel int. amp. given the above, what is a good choice for sub-woofer to match the Heresy characteristics and room dimensions (something in the KSW line preferred). Also where might be a good resource for used Klipsch-particularly Cornwall/LaScala/Belle. Thanks for any help in advance
