  1. I am offering one set of my Belles for sale as space is becoming an issue.  These are finished in oiled walnut.

    • 1987 build
    • Sequential serial numbers
    • All original drivers and crossovers (AB)

I acquired this set in 1990 and became their second owner.  I hate to use terms like "mint condition", but these cabinets are in outstanding condition and look like they were built yesterday.  They are located in CT.  The price is $3500.00.

  2. I realize the answer to my question may be personal preference, but figured I would tap the knowledge base for some feedback.

I have two sets of Belles and will be putting one up for sale:

    • Both sets are 1987 build
    • Both have sequential serial numbers
    • Both have all their original components & crossovers
    • Both sets are excellent to near mint condition

One set is oiled oak, the other oiled walnut.  I have owned the oak set since 1989 and have my original sales paperwork.  I acquired the walnut set in 1991 as the second owner.  My question is whether the oak or walnut would be more desirable to a potential buyer.  Is one finish worth more then the other?  Any feedback is welcome.

    Thanks

  3. Hey Guys,

I have two pairs of Belles and I'm trying to breakdown the data on the labels (date of manufacturer, etc).  I've included a pic of one of the labels.

Type  BK  WO  (Belle Klipsch  Walnut Oiled)

    Serial  8767144

    425 / 83  (1027)  (1109)  (What do these numbers mean?)

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
