Thought I had it fixed, but it's doing it again. Wish I knew how to fix it.

I have a set of ProMedia 2.1 computer speakers that I TRULY adore. But and this has happened before once. The sound fades in and out. I have pulled out the cords from the back of the woofer and reset them. But, I see this happening again.
