  1. Gil, I got them. Thanks it was a generous thing to do. I think you accidently sent some of the originals (index) so they are coming back to you. Regards, John
  2. Thanks for the feedback. I set up the two for a side by side and she agreed the Belle's were better. Now to get them refinished. John ------------------ Cheers, John
  3. Years and years ago (mid 80's) I sold Klipsch speakers in an Army PX in Germany (Heresy's, Cornwalls, and KG-2's). Anyhow I had a set of technical guides or "white papers" written by Paul Klipsch on a variety of topics such as speaker placement, building a center channel, wiring (I remember he recommended normal lamp cord over the boutique cables), and many more topics. Does anyone have a set that would be willing to make a copy for me? I would appreciate it. thanks, John ------------------ Cheers, John
  4. I am new to the list so forgive me if this has been asked before. I just picked up a set of '80s Belle's and am having a hard time convincing my wife that they are better then her old KG-4's (I like them better, but maybe it's because I pushed the whole purchase thing). The big thing is we notice a little more noise in the quite parts of music. She isn't going wow! over the KG-4's. Can these be updated if necessary? Could it be the KG-4 dampens the music a bit this and make it less noticable? How can I check the drivers to make certain they are working ok? Thanks, John CD- Denon DVD 1600 AMP- McIntosh 6500 ------------------ Cheers, John
