I'm building a new home. I'm having speaker wires runs prior to drywall. The sub contrator plans to install 16AWG Oxygen-free wires - 4 runs to the rear of family room (16'D x 15'W x 9'H).
QUESTION: Do you think 16AWG oxygen-free wire is sufficient for running a 2 RCW-5's (In-walls) on the rear side walls and a 2 RCR-5's (In-ceilings) on the rear ceiling?
QUESTION: Do you think this is a good configuration of rear speaker selections? Do you think in-walls and in-ceilings will match well with one another? (I plan on RF-7, RC-7, RSW-12 for the front).
QUESTION: What do you think of running the new Sony ES STR-DA4ES Receiver?
Thanks!
