So I figured it out. My tv doesn't have hdmi arc. When I did the set up I used an optical cable to connect the soundbar to the tv. I didn't get Dolby Atmos with this setup. By routing my cable from my ROKU streaming device through the soundbar I am able to recieve Dolby Atmos when it is available. Very happy now with my speakers. Also happy to avoid buying a new TV with an hdmi arc connection to receive the Dolby Atmos. I wish the setup instructions would have been clearer about the pass-through connection and it's use.

I wondering if the cinema has video pass-through. I would like to connect the hdmi cable from my ROKU steaming device to the soundbar and then an hdmi cable from this soundbar to the tv.
