Yesterday my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 THS Subwoofer started to sound weird. It almost sounds like there is a bad connection as it was very scratching towards the midrange that it plays. It has never done it before and has come out of the blue. There is nothing wrong with the diaphragm that I can see. Suggestions?

I have the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker System for several years. Yesterday the subwoofer started making scratching noises. I have not ever pushed it hard so it is not like I have blown the speaker, but that is what it sounds like. The two satellite speakers work just fine. This is totally new and out of the blue. Any help would be appreciated as I love my speaker system.
