    The Altec 290. All are in perfect working order except the 292 pictured here, which is open. I have a 4 ohm NOS diaphragm as well.

    Altec 353A. These are great and not easy to find in this shape. Very respectable condition. Photos are sketchy, sorry.

    Here's the cabinet. I have four perfectly matching shelves, which are half-width and fully adjustable with metal clips and track as shown. The blems shown have not been touched up - they will hide really well. The yardstick shown is 48" long. The doors will accept plexi, acrylic, expanded or perf metal, etc. They are empty now. Was going to have stained leaded glass made for them but moved the rig out of the living room shortly after I had it made. $350 local. Custom made by Gasport Wood Products. Cost over $800.

    So, I tried to do my homework prior to listing but it's tough to find completed sales history on these since there are so few being resold. I would be happy around $1000 on this now. Up for sale as part of my divorce/relocate clearance is my Juicymusic Blueberry with Cream. These are fantastic and well known around here. I purchased directly from the owner, Mark Deneen. It is perfectly functional, but has a flaw on the upper corner that is shown mercilessly in the photos. Ships in orginal packaging with manual. Tubes are Amperex 6DJ8, GE, Sovtek 12AX7 and JJ ECC81. Sounds beautiful. Steal it for $1500. Questions? Offers?

    Here are some pics that I have on my drive already. I can get more, but these are handy and reflect the condition well. I have the original knobs and covers and will include them. No case - tweed Fender bag. I will ship and pack like a freak. I would be crushed if this thing got damaged. It's a sweet, sweet bass.     Altec 290 are all 8 or 4 ohm. Pair of radial phase plug (K I think), and a pair of C with the metal concentric plug. also a 292.

    I believe they are all 8 ohm. All phenolic per 290 spec. Excellent question. Any other phragm and you're crossing over too high to play really well with the K bins. I'll do my best to check on the details tomorrow. Thanks!

    Thanks everyone for the support and interest so far! This is a very positive step for me. Gear can be replaced, and I need to lighten my load and raise money to be able to have more freedom of choice. It's all good!
