  1. Hi, I just joined today, and this is my first post. My first speakers were new Khorns bought new in 1976, and for nearly 15 years now, I have owned (second hand) a set of Klipsch Epic CF 4 version 1. I have been a member of the Audiogon community since the beginning, and today a member stated that he believed that Klipsch made some speakrs in the Epic series of solid oak. To my knowledge, there has never been a Klipsch speaker of any type or vintage that was made of solid wood (oak in this case). I'm wondering if one of the Klipsch experts on this forum can clear this up for me. My own Epics are veneered plywood, except for the front baffle and the back wall, and to my knowledge, all Heritage speakers were plywood as well. Thanks for your help, John
