  1. When I try to play a dvd on my computer seems like my dd-5.1 is not getting any digital signal. It reads stereo on the coaxial input. But when I play a dvd on my game console, the decoder picks up the digi' signal (reads dolby digital). Here's what I did. I enabled digital output on my soundcard.Enabled s/pdif for my dvd software decoder (WinDVD,not a trial version). And select 5.1 surround on the movie audio menu. And still nothing. Please help.
  2. I got the decoder to detect dolby digital on a DVD. But only off and on. Windows saying that PowerDVD is not responding. So when it plays in D.D. it suddenly changes to stereo. And at the same time it does that the movie hangs or freezes. Then it changes back after a few seconds to D.D. and the movie continues playing. It's a back and fourth thing until windows stops it and gives me that PowerDVD is not responding. Could it be that I'm using a trial version of PowerDVD? I know on their website it says 30 days trial,30 min video, and 5 min. audio. I don't know what they meant on that. Could that be my problem?
  3. Am I doing something wrong here? When I play movies on powerdvd, the dd-5.1 won't detect it. So only 4 speakers is working on my 5.1's. It only decodes it to stereo. I am playing or testing a movie that has dolby digital 5.1 feature. Help please! Anyone! Would greatly be appreciated! Thanks! Oh yea, this is my audio setup: PowerDVD Audigy gamer sound card connected to the DD-5.1 with a mini to two RCA ends. Only one of the ends is connected to the s/pdif coaxial input of the DD-5.1. And the other end (the mini) coming from thr s/pdif output. Anyway thanks again
