Stumbled on this thread and decided to update w/ pictures - these speakers are now in my garage. I do appreciate all the good info from this community regarding the super hersey topic and the cross-over variants in the legacy series to make adjustments. These HIP sport modified cornwall B2 crossovers w/ zobal filter across woofer and no zeners...they sound very detailed all the way to mid bass then roll off a tad so proper floor placement is important to reinforce bass. BTW - what components have changed on the Heresy Industrial variant from '68 to '77, anyone know? Asking because I purchased a HI-SM pair, 1968 w/ original woofer and squawker - tweekers were replaced wondering now when PWK started using zeners?
