Thank you so very much, fine folk. Sorry I was away for several hours yesterday evening and night. I hade done something even more basic than most of you guessed or surmised. I had the main speaker connected to the Height input rather than the Main. In hindsight this makes absolute sense, duh!, but the single pair of (Height) connectors lured me to mis-wire the speaker. Thank you all so much for weighing in - fabulous community for folks like me - obviously in over their heads - have great days. Bruce

I did not see a 2.0, only a 2.1 option. I will look at the lf/hf jumpers - I believe they are connected Thanks again.

Help, please. I feel crazy stupid. I am trying to set up a pair of Klipsch RP-8000F speakers with a Onkyo TX-RZ50 receiver. During the speakers set-up (using speaker 2.1 without a sub-woofer), I cannot get the test sound through the speakers. I am using generic 16-gauge wire. Is it the wire? I have re-wired the speakers and receivers several times. The surprise birthday present for my wife is not working out so well... Thanks. Bruce
