Well, it actually is plugged to a USB outlet. I meant remote as not being the keyboard built into the laptop... Something somewhere is definitely picking up some kind of electrical pulse.

These are connected to my Lenovo laptop. I often hear pops and snaps and buzzing and more often than not those noises coincide with keystrokes on a remote USB keyboard, when a file is downloaded, or a web page loads. No wires are being moved when these noises appear. I'm at a loss for troubleshooting this issue. Suggestions???
