  1. Customer service responded: Thank you for contacting Klipsch! The speaker's amplifier will get fairly hot. This is normal and nothing to be concerned with.
  2. Brief follow-up. The powered speaker does cool down when it shifts into power saving mode.
  3. No. Not at all. I emailed customer service. Before I speak with them however I wanted to receive some feedback from other current The Sevens customers as to their experience.
  4. I have a pair of Klipsch The Sevens. They are 2 months old. I was moving them to relocate and in doing so I noticed that the rear portion of the powered speaker was very very hot. How hot? After about 20 seconds, I had to remove my hand from the metal plate on the back. Is this normal? Hard to believe it is. I have another pair of powered speakers (Fluance) and the rear of the power speak is not hot at all. In advance, thanks . Stephen
