I purchased a pair of KLF 10s without any trace of cabinet rattle (yay!). These are amazing speakers for the money and I'm happy as a clam. I want to restore them to their full glory, and these are the original black colored speakers. They're pretty scratched and scuffed on the sides and I'd like to take the time to sand them down by hand and then refinish them. Thinking of a nice wood stain on them as opposed to black. Any idea what kind of wood was used originally? Thanks!
