Well saying too much might be considered pointless and extraneous. 😉

Always happy to get a chuckle. Well as long as it's not in the bedroom. 😆

I think there are lot´s of other things can be done with a wife instead of discussing about plate clamps 😂
I do believe that you mentioned that those clamps are good for screwing. Lol

"therefore light plate clamps for screwing are more appropriate" Hmmm...I've never even thought about that. I'll have to discuss it with the Wife before bed time. . I'm sorry....I had to. Thanks for the info.

Last weekend I spun ...Grover Washington´s Winelight
followed by Kenny Burrell " Sky Street "
and finally a collection from The Crusaders " Best of 1967 to 1976 "
I bought a new smartphone in October last year, but the camera is obviously not that good, the pictures are constantly blurred or not razor sharp or the colors are not right, maybe I should have a steadier hand when taking pictures, better to buy a new one soon .
Sir...I know that I have mentioned this before. I seriously love your turntable. I hope that you enjoy it half as much as I admire it. One day I am hoping to follow your lead.

You should look into it. I have heard that they sell those now. 😂

And what do you need the shaving brush on the box for?
Because sometimes I am ridiculously lazy and use the thing to clean off dust. It's remarkably soft. Granted, it doesn't do much for static, but I hardly notice with my drummer hearing.

Might be heading out of town for a bit. Just started vacation. The Old Man and Mom invited myself and the Wife down to visit in Florida. Dad is a former Army Sharpshooter ,yes that means sniper /Combat handgun expert. Master Sergeant...yeah...it was like that growing up. Lol....in any case...even at his Korean War age...he just set me and himself up with a private airboat tour of the Everglades, combined with a feral hog hunt. I see ribs in my future. "Gimmie those baby back baby back baby backs". 😆. I'll certainly try to keep posting. I'll be thinking about you all, even if I'm busy sucking BBQ sauce from a bone. 😈. Yeah...that's right...I said it. Lol.

I take my card and I stand in line
To make a buck, I work overtime
Dear Sir letters keep comin' in the mail
I work my back 'til it's racked with pain
The boss can't even recall my name
I show up late and I'm docked, it never fails
I feel like just another, spoke in a great big wheel
Like a tiny blade of grass in a great big field, whoa
To workers, I'm just another drone
To Ma Bell, I'm just another phone
I'm just another statistic on a sheet
To teachers, I'm just another child
To IRS, I'm another file
I'm just another consensus on the street
Gonna cruise outta this city, head down to the sea
Gonna shout out at the ocean, "Hey, it's me"
And I feel like a number
Feel like a number
Feel like a stranger
A stranger in this land
I feel like a number
I'm not a number
I'm not a number
Damn it I'm a man, I said I'm a man
Gonna cruise out of this city, head down to the sea
Gonna shout out at the ocean, "Hey, it's me"
And I feel like a number
Feel like a number
Feel like a stranger
Stranger in this land
Feel like a number
I'm not a number
I'm not a number
Damn it, I'm a man
I feel like a number
Feel like a number
Feel like a number
Hey
I feel like a-
I feel-
Feel like a-
Feel like a-

I feel like a-
I feel-
Well played my friend, well played.

Well...this should be here tomorrow. Mine will be in oak in order to match my turntable. I have no idea if it will really do anything. At the very least it will look cool. If it's ineffective perhaps I will remove the spikes and put it on some isolation feet. I'm not expecting that it will be necessary. My floors are rock solid and the stand that I am using is fairly heavy. I guess the proof will be as they say, in the pudding. If it works out I'll pass the manufacturer along to the masses. Thus far, if personalized customer service is a factor. They have been spot on. I have been made to feel like a person and not just an order number.

I think it´s about negating noise from the platter-bearing.
What I wonder about is magnetic influence on the catridge... Is it all shielded by that platter?
Both good points. Thanks.

Maybe on it's way soon...
It really looks interesting. I would be worried about the difficulty of just changing out the records. It seems like it would have to be a bit of a timely process just to flip a record. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome looking setup. Maybe I am just too lazy...lol. Is there any real advantage to the floating turntable if the tone arm is still affixed to the base? It seems to me that it would negate the whole anti vibration thing. If that's what it is going for. I'm really just curious as I am certainly no expert in any way.

Congratulations.
I have 990pro 250 ohm for many years. Just keep ready new set of velour pads. Originals have a tendency to flatten and stay that way, which may change the sound. Avoid the leather pads also, totally different sound. And with many amps/preamps these cans don't sound that good. But when you hit the right combo, they can sing. The best I heard them with are Yamaha A-S line of amps. And Yamaha pro gear, do not have to be expensive ones.
I'm running mine through a Rogue Audio Sphinx V3 Magnum. So far I love them. Thanks for the input.

Great band from the 80's. Started out with Yngwie Malmsteen on guitar. When he left they replaced him with a fairly decent guitarist. Steve Vai...lol. Now it's a new lineup but Graham Bonnet is still with the band and showing that he still has the pipes.

Sorry I have been busy myself. Almost had to make an emergency trip out to New Mexico. My Mother-in-law was rushed to the hospital via life flight. They live in the middle of nowhere. Thank goodness she is okay. So...back for now. Heading down to Florida on Sunday though. Not looking forward to the effing heat.
