Argh, it never ends. Sorry everyone. Life is keeping me both busy and insane. I'm now working a job that gives me 10 hours a day at home for five days a week. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled for the substantial paycheck, it just doesn't give me much time over the course of the week.

My grandmother would cook eggs and sometimes make fried potatoes in schmaltz. It was gastronomic heaven.

My buddy Jeff is a generation older than me, a Wisconsin native(like myself), and a Vietnam veteran.
Today his brother Bob was in town and had brought along some Wisconsin bourbons.
These were very good.Â
We chatted for a few hours and as things were wrapping up, Jeff told me he had a shirt he wanted me to have.
This was the shirt he was wearing when he flew home from Vietnam.
