So I have the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 BT speakers. A few days ago we experienced a storm with some lighting. The power surged a couple of times enough to set off the beeper on my Battery UPS. Afterwards when things settled down I noticed my sound was gone from the speakers. I checked the power supply and then unplugged and re-plugged the pinned connector to the subwoofer box. The sound would only play for about three or four seconds. Then I'd get a loud audible beep and no sound. I was looking through the threads and where where on person said they had experienced a power surge and his phone automatically linked via BT to the speakers so he had no sound either. He said he recognized the beep as a BT connect beep. So I double checked my phone and deleted all the BT connections I did not recognize. The sound came back but only for 2-3 secs. I turned the BT on my iPhone off and still the same, though it did play a little longer maybe five secs. I'm still trying to narrow down what the BT in the speakers could be trying to connect to? Does anyone have any thoughts. So many things are BT now days Alexa, Monitors, PC's, printers etc. its hard to know what is trying to connect with what anymore....Windows 11 says the PC will tell you what your speakers are linking to but I can't seem to find that particular window. Stuck for now looking for fixes....

I had the exact same experience, lighting strike, power surge and then the sound went out. I unplugged the pinned plug and the plugged it back in and it played for 2-3 secs then "beep" no sound. It didn't occur to me to check my bluetooth settings on the phone. My phone was not connected to the speakers under any name I recognized so I cleared all the connections I did not recognize. Still no luck. I turned off the BT on my phone the speakers played for about 5-6 secs. So that tells me the BT is trying to connect to something else, but I don't know what just yet. Still looking into it...
