  1. so i lost the rear portion of my 4.1's a while ago(thanks to the amplifier) and am now left with 2 speakers and nothing to do with them, i was wondering if i could use them as my surrounds in my home theater while i look for upgrades. i have a Yamaha RX-V2500(130 W per channel). Do you think these speakers could handle some mild use????
  2. has anyone else have a problem like this? or know how to fix this???
  3. let me know how that works out in the longer run. and yeah but thats not really the point, one of my rear channel out dont work. if it was both i could understand something went wrong with that part of the amp, but its just the one rear channel.
  4. its deffinitly something wrong with the right channel rear output, i switched all sorts of stuff around and figuerd for some reason the sub outputs nothing to that channel. i guess i could try the alchohol on the push button as well. any further help from people would be great.
  5. just recently everytime i push the standby button in or out it gives me a big pop. also i seem to have lost my left rear speaker.i also have the loud static whenever i move the sorround knob( but have seen from older posts thats due to it getting dirty) any help with this one??
  6. well.. does anyone have and tricks to getting off the CP-1 module from the bottom of the speaker?
  7. hey, i am about to do the same thing, i was wondering how you got the modual off of the bottom of the speaker. u just pull it? and when you take apart the module is it a screw or what?
  8. on my previous post someone told me that you know how to solve the problem of static when changing the sorround vloume knob. that would be great if you could tell me that, i tryed to find yor previous post on this, but could not
  9. i have the static when changing the volume knob of the sorround. i get some static in the rear when playing mp3's.
  10. yeah mine has both inputs, the headphones, and the line in thing. so i have the updated one and should not buy the CP-1?
  11. how do i know if i have the original and should upgrade to the CP-1????
  12. for some reason when nothing is being played, the speakers are on and not even moving the mouse, there is a static noise that comes in and out of the left speaker. and as writing this and listening to music the left speaker just cut out. any sugestions.? there a little over a year old
  13. hey just wanted to say i have this same problem when i change the volume of my rear speakers i get hiss and pop sounds. any help?
  14. i look at all of these things saying there systems keep dying out on them, i have had mine for over a year and my friend has had a pair of 2.1s for longer then that, i have been through 2 moves too.
