  1. Yeah but strangley enough I get 5.1 surround sound in everything from that one cable.
  2. http://www.americas.creative.com/products/product.asp?product=274&category=15&maincategory=3&nav=over -Combine with Sound Blaster® Audigy or Sound Blaster Extigy for 24-bit, 96kHz support over 3-channel SPDIF
  3. My DTT3500s and my Megaworks 510Ds were both connected digitally by a miniplug to the digital output on the back of the Audigy card and I recieved 5.1 sound in games with DX 8.1 like Battlefield 1942 and all my other EAX games.
  4. My DTT3500s and my Megaworks 510Ds were both connected digitally by a miniplug to the digital output on the back of the Audigy card and I recieved 5.1 sound in games with DX 8.1 like Battlefield 1942 and all my other EAX games.
  5. If creative systems are connected digitally, why can't Klipsch systems be connected digitally with 5.1 audio in non dolby/dts sound? Is there a huge difference between a miniplug and optical output?
  6. Ok, but dosn't the Megawords 510 and 550D have a SPDIF connection? My old set had a digital cable that was connected digitally to the back of my Audigy, the same output for the center\sub from the Klipsch's. Same thing with my DTT3500s, but too bad those speakers suck:P
  7. Well I have a soundcard that can do true 5.1(Audigy 1). But I want to know if I hook up my speakers to the DD-5.1, then hook the DD 5.1 to my Audigy by the optical output on my Platinum drive, would I be able to get 5.1 sourround sound in windows\games like I do with the analogs? I use to have a Cambridge DTT3500 and I think that I only got 2 channels with optical(I tried the Audigy mixer thingy, the thing that says Front Left, Center, etc...).
  8. That solves alot of my questions, but would I be able to get 5.1 sound in games without the analog connection(i.e. using RCA or optical only)? Because if I can't then I'm going to buy an Audigy 2 instead.
  9. I am thinking about getting a DD-5.1, but I need to know a few things. First, how would I hook these up to my speakers? Would I have to buy RCA cables and hook them up from the amp on the sub to the the decoder? And if so, how would I connect the subwoofer to it? Also, how would I connect the PM-5.1s directly to my PC digitally? I hear that some people who connect it through optical or coaxial only get 2 speakers to sound when in games\music. If anyone knows where I can find a manual to the DD-5.1s, that would help too.
  10. In the future will there be a new version of the DD-5.1 that supports Dolby Pro Logic II? I need to connect my 5.1s to my PC and Gamecube, but I can't justify buying a DD 5.1 just for my PC. Also I want to hook up my GC to my monitor, but that would move it away from my Pro Logic 1 decoder. Does anyone know about a future version of the DD-5.1(or if there will be one)?
