my promedia 5.1 speakers will not turn on, and ive tried just about everything, and unplugging it got me enough voltage in me to kill my dog.

i got the promedia 5.1 and when music was playing, the power cord was knocked out. now it wont turn on and i think its busted. what should i do? anything technical i can do myself?
