  1. ** Sorry for this being a bit wordy, I wanted to properly explain the situation and provide enough information to save time for solutions ** Perhaps someone can help me figure out what is going on with my speaker setup. Someone paid me to build them a computer and everything is fine and I got the 5.1 Klipsch speakers, I tested everything out with my Creative Digital 5700 5.1 speakers at home and it worked great so I know sound was working. I brought it to him and unpacked the Klipsch set them all up and I made sure to disable the digital sound that I originally was using since these are not digital. I followed the (thin) owners manual and setup all 5 satellites, ran the proper wires to the subwoofer (i proper did red/black leads in each satellite so that a little portion of the lead was sticking out while i pinched it and the same on the end of the subwoofer). I then wired the din for the control panel over to the subwoofer. Then i ran the green / black / orange cables from the subwoofer to my audigy 2 card (which are labeled line 1 2 and 3 on it and this was all done properly because i did it while looking at the audigy 2 manual and these were the right spots). I connected the power cord and powered up the speakers and the computer and when I logged in no sound was working. I checked a lot of things and hardware wise everything worked. I went ahead and plugged headphones into the control tower headphone jack, tapped the power button so it goes into HP (headphone) mode and music played. This should verify that the cables are properly going (at least the green) from the computer to the subwoofer. When I switch back to speaker mode by taping the power button on the control tower, it still will not work. Did I get dud speakers? I am very confused now because this seems like such an easy thing to setup as I have setup surround sound speakers a lot in the past. Thanks for any responses in advance!
