  1. What would you use to drive the new woofer. The klipsch sub may do it. I run a 8" with no problem, but you are talking about a lot more than one 8". If you or a freind has a 8" of 10" sub in a car. Connect that to your klipsch sub amp. See if you get the hit you want. I get all the bass I want with the 8". My room is 12'x12'. Good luck
  2. I built a 8" subwoofer in a box and connected it to the wire of the sub on the klipsch. It is great. I would think you can put a 10" Just get a sub that eff. 100 to 250 watts. I have more bass than I need. Good luck!! I hope this helps. And It only cost me $74.00 wood wire and speaker.
  3. I fixed the bottoming out bass. I thought the bass was on the soft side. I built a box and put a 8" woofer. I ran the wires from the klipsch subwoofer to the 8" woofer and now it is all the bass I need. I hope this will help you. You can buy the new sub that is coming out to add on but I think you would be wery satified with adding the 8" or 10" woofer. Get a woofer that is eff. it only takes 100 to 250 watts. Good luck
  4. I have the same problem with my 4.1 It seems like the woofers are blown. I have a C-Media sound card. Can this be the problem?? I love the 4.1 beside the woofer rattling.
  5. I have a JBL tlx ps 10 with mine. I have the JBL connected to the subwoofer 1/8 plug that has two RCA plugs on the other end. The Klipsch connect to your main and rear speackers. So this is very easy to do. I am selling my JBL at the time. I just moved to in a trailer and they are like a big speaker box and the neibgors don;t like it. The sub on the 4.1 works well in my case. I hope this will help. Ron
