  1. Hi, I would not do that. The speakers (hopefully) were designed for a rear port. You have to figure out a way to keep them open, and dont keep them parallel (as you have done in the figure) to each other, keep them slightly inclined to each other facing inwards. Hope this helps, Ramswaroop
  2. Hi, I bought a pair of rf3s and was appaled at the quality of wires used inside for wiring the drivers to the crossover. (It can be seen through the generous bass port behind). I was wondering if I could remove the woofer mount screws, take out the woofers and rewire them with superior monster cable. ( I guess this is the major difference between the RF3s and RF3 IIs) But do the woofers come off just like that or are they glued to the front frame? And how smart an idea would it be to go ahead and rewire them? thanks in advance, Ramswaroop
