  1. Hi Jeff, What happened at that club was a hellish nightmare that I still can't believe. It sounds like you're a lot like me. I spent much of my youth listening to hard rock/metal and going to concerts. I recall seeing Great White a few times in the eighties, and I also had a few of their albums. Having been in night clubs many times, I can only imagine what was going through these people's minds before they died. They were just like us, going out to here some music that they loved. Perhaps they went to the station that night to re-live their youth for a few hours. It's so sad. God rest their souls.
  2. Yeah, I love these concert DVDs. The James Taylor I have is "Pull Over." I bet the super bit concerts sound awesome. I also bought the new Alanis Morrisette Live "Feast On Scraps." I did see some of the Eagles DVD at sears when I was looking at their televisions - I might want to buy that one. Can anyone else suggest some good concerts out there? I'm into all kinds of music.
  3. I am just totally impressed with my new Klipsch surround sound. I'm actually new to the whole HT experience and I'm just loving it.Last night I popped in the new James Taylor Live DVD and cranked it up. It was amazing! My RF-311s performed exceptionally well, and they have'nt even been broken in yet. The little SC1 center even surprised me. Klipsch really captures the live sound.
  4. I do like the RC-3 Center channel. I actually had the salesman demonstrate both centers for me using the same DVD. The RC-3 did sound a little better to me but my wife couldn't see spending the extra money. I do have the option of upgrading within a year and being given full credit on the SC.1.
  5. I just bought a pair of RF-311s here in Rochester, NY for $582.24. This was on a 15% discount. I searched everywhere, including ebay, for six months. This was the lowest price I've ever seen.
  6. I just took the plunge into the HT world. Here's what I have: Front RF-311s Center SC.1 Surrounds SC.5s Sub KSW10 Receiver Sony STR-DB1070 ( Is this the ES?) $1000. retail - My cost $400. The receiver EQ seems to have already been set by the factory and the sound is pretty good. Can anyone suggest any adjustments to enhance it? Here's my situation: 14' x 16' room. 32' Sony Wega with RF- 311's on each side tight in a corner of the room. Thanks, Paul
