  1. Todd, you are absolutely right. I went into the menu of my DVD player and changed the setting to DTS it was set on Dolby Digital. But now it plays both Dolby Digital and DTS modes. And the SC 1 I have sitting behind my couch makes such a hell of a difference. Thank you for your input.
  2. I have an Onkyo SR700 with the Klipsch RF3 II series surround setup and a SC1 rear center. I was trying to play Blade 2 yesterday in the DTS ES mode of the DVD and for some reason there was no output. It worked fine when it was on the Dolby Digital mode but not on DTS ES. Then I tried Gladiator on the DTS ES mode it did not work either. I am not sure if I am missing some step in the setup process or what I am doing wrong. The system sounds great with Dolby Digital EX, but I would like to experience it in DTS as it was meant to be. As you can guess I just acquired this setup.
  3. Hey Dave, Thank you very much for the input. It has been very helpful. Unfortunately the Sound Advice I go to doesnt carry Onkyo or HK. So its hard for me to compare the speakers at the store. The only thing I could do is buy and return. Thanks again. Mohan
  4. I am looking at getting the RF 3IIBs for my home theater along with the matched center and surround. I want to setup a minimum of 6.1 channel setup in my carpeted apartment. I have been pondering over the Onkyo SR600,700 and 800. I dont want to spend more than 800 on the receiver. Also on my hit list are the Denon 1803 and 2803. What do you think is the best receiver for these. Sound Advise sells the Yamahas a lot but I heard that Klipshes and Yammys dont gel too well. I looked on the Forum and noticed that a lot of people like to use them with Marantz. I am confused asto Marantz/Denon/Onkyo. My usage would be 70/30 Movies/Music. Lemme know what you think...
