I moved the side surrounds to just behind my ear position. So I figured a re-running the audyssey was a good idea, I have not moved the unit itself since I got it new. After hearing the normal rest tones from everything, it starts to compile the info it gathered, then I get a display of an "error reading the sub". but it does not state what type off error. After 5 tries, I gave up. I dont know what to do about it. I am using dynamic EX, and boundry gain. I wonder if its broken, or if there something I could be doing for to get it to run completely. It does seems to be using the old setting, and it doesnt sound bad this way. I worried about disconnecting the 6 month old sub and then being worse off and not getting it working at all later. So I left the Onkyo TX-NR609 setttings alone for now, and later may buy an Anthem but dont want to have to right now. This is just annoying that it wont let me run the program to finish. this is the first unit I have had with Audyssey. I was using a very old SONY PLII 5.0 before this. so I have no idea what I am doing with it other than what I have already done. Can I please get a comment on what I can do to get this sorted?
