Gary W. Graley
I was really hoping nothing would go wrong with this unit, fingers crossed but now the left channel is Snapping loudly, large Crack POP sounds coming from that channel, is there anything to do to stop this? I'm worried that it will suddenly just stop and not work altogether [*-)] Email me at chiseledge@yahoo.com Thanks, G2
shaegelin
I also had pops coming from my ifi but only when I played off itunes on my computer and not when I played off a docked ipod. Turned out to be the cheap sound card integrated onto the motherboard. I bought a $30 Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE card. It solved my problem. Jester87
I had the exact same issue. So when I openind up woofer case I found 2 capacitors blown (bad capacitors buldge or crack on the top, sometimes leak on to bottom). So I tried replacing them with the same rated capacitors but either due to my crappy soldering skills or wrong capcitors it didnt fix my issue. So I've taken it to an electrician maybe he can salvage the system. I'm fairly confident that what you're hearing is also cause by blown capacitors which luckly are fairly easy to replace if you can solder (not like me). If you cant solder then I'll let you know if the electrican was able to help me.
