astav
I bought a set of the new speaks from Soundcity on Friday night. Does anyone know if they are in stock? Any luck in getting through for a tracking number? Soundcity hasn't gotten back to me and I'm well, a little anxious......

schuro
I ordered mine from Sound City on Sunday and I just received this e-mail from them today.... ------------------------------------------- "The Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 is the hottest selling piece right now. Since it is new it sells out extremely fast and because of that we do not have it in stock. It is expected here mid to late March. Please contact me if you wish to cancel because the item is automatically placed on back order. If you do not want the product and do not contact me then the item will ship the day we receive it. By keeping the order on back order you will not be charged anything on your card unless the order physically ships out." -------------------------------------------- So... Does anybody know if Klipsch is shipping? Do you think it would be less hassle and quicker to order directly from Klipsch? What priority does Klipsch put on individual orders compared to bulk purchase orders?
Sgtnukem
I ordered them Sunday night direct from Klipsch. Got the verification Monday, they shipped and will be arriving Friday according to the tracking information. Going directly to the source for your product does have its advantages. Just my opinion... astav
I agree. I cancelled my order w/Soundcity yesterday and went through Klipsch instead. Should have them by Friday.
Moderators Amy Posted March 1, 2001 Moderators Share Posted March 1, 2001 Probably the major advantage of buying direct from Klipsch is the warranty--if you loose your receipt, we will have a record of your purchase. Plus if something happens to your speakers during shipping, you'll be guaranteed help from us. I'm not sure what other online store's policies are... Usually you'll be taken care of, but you just never know. --Amy
Sgtnukem
That's why we love you Amy, your always looking out for those of us who buy direct. Also, the doo-hickey you sent me worked out great. The old speakers brought me a pretty penny on resale, and the new ones are arriving tomorrow. Sgtnukem
