jollyroger
I have a 19 by 19 foot living room and i'm planning to buy a Home Theater without subwoofer (i already have one). I'm between the Quintet SL and the Cinema 8. Cinema 8: 4 speakers RSX-4 ( 90 db, 50 W, 92Hz-20kHz), 1 center (94 db, 75 W, 92Hz-20kHz) Quintet Sl: 3 LCR (93 db, 50 W, 80Hz-23kHz), 2 Satellite (91 db, 50 W, 120Hz-23kHz) Cinema 8 seems to be better, but it has 4" woofers and it delivers worst frequency: 92Hz-20kHz vs 80Hz-23kHz So, WHICH ONE IS BETTER??? Bill H.
Honestly, with that big of a room.........look at the Reference RF 52 or higher series speaker set. or even their book shelf models. Then you won't have to upgrade. Better specs, fuller sound and all for the same monies as the little systems..................
