hijack Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 I bought a set of GMX 5.1 which I losted in the shuffle moving to houston. I Freaking loved those speakers they had good sound and looked were exceptionally cool. Chicks dug them. I eventually replaced them with ProMedia Ultra 5.1 which did not look nearly as cool but still had great sound. Those have died on me due to the over heating problem. I bought a 2.1 logitech set to hold me over for $70 from best buy. I now wonder if it would be a good idea to get another set of ProMedia specifically the wireless set. I know KLipsch makes some of the finest sounding speakers but i Know the overheating problem became rampant and I really don't feel like getting "burned" by them again.
