--g--
I currently have a Sony STRDG920 receiver pushing a 5.1 surround setup with a Klipsch SUB-12 and Klipsch Quintet III surround (4) and center channel (1) speakers. I want to upgrade to a 7.1 setup. I am trying to decide if I should just add an additional pair of Quintett III surround speakers OR add a pair of F-1 floorstanding speakers to use as the L/R front channel and then move my existing Quintet III L/R to the back. The cost for a pair of additional Quintet III surround speakers is relatively the same as the cost for a pair of Klipsch Synergy F-1 floor standing speakers. I am concerned that the Synergy F-1's won't match up with my other speakers and sound as good as having all the same speakers. Does this matter? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
