jnorv
I just plugged in a 24 db/oct high pass filter set at F3=38Hz into my system running 4638s as a base unit. Big improvement. Got rid of most of the subsonic grung. Next step is to get the resistors for maybe a 45 Hz F3. JBL recommends a 40 Hz filter. I am using a passive xover between the 4638s and a pair of dunlavys. Caps and resitors at 6 db/oct. Is there some simple way to design a passive 24 db xover. My EE reference's are not so good and I dont look forward to solving the higher number of equations to get the answer. I do have Dickersons book on order. Not sure if it is any where close to Roark in cook booking filters..
